I really wanted to keep the aspects that I loved from both, so I blended the lighting and effects of the stormy weathers from both mods together, while keeping all of NAT's region data intact so no other weathers are affected or overwritten. It's a bit more than a drag-and-drop compatibility patch, though. So voila! I thought I would go ahead and make one myself. The only thing I found myself missing was the crazy intensity of True Storms, but I could never find a compatibility patch.
#Epic thunder sound mod mod
Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel has always been my favorite weather mod by far, the weathers are so crisp and clear, the atmosphere it creates is just perfect for me. Reverted the snow particles of snowstorms back to those provided by NAT, after realizing during testing that NAT's snow particles seem to be a bit more realistic than True Storm's. In the Water's Edge Fix versions: incorporated the fix into a few more vanilla weathers that badly needed it, and added a tiny bit of variation to the fog values to hopefully bring a bit more fog back into foggy weathers without altering the smoothness of water edges. Slightly reduced the thunder frequency to alleviate a rare glitch that would sometimes cause thunder sounds to keep looping long after a storm had stopped. One final tweaking of the weather chances in the region data to find that perfect balance between the rarity of NAT weathers versus True Storm's unique weathers, as well as a bit more refinement for certain regions to keep them more in line with NAT's realistic approach to weather. Added compatibility patches for both Sounds of Skyrim and Audio Overhaul.
